Okay…so National Fitness Day was actually on May 2nd. However, we still thought it fitting to discuss today, given everyone’s rather claustrophobic current work environment. The intent behind the observation is to “celebrate strength and empowerment through fitness”. Contrary to popular belief, now is not the time to just sit back and let fitness take a backseat to stress-eating and sedentariness!

 

If anything, now is the time to empower ourselves even MORE with fitness and wellness. In today’s climate more than ever, we need not only a strong and healthy immune system/body, but also a strong mind.

By continuing to empower ourselves through fitness during these unprecedented times, we can retain some sense of normalcy, routine, control, and mental strength. By doing something that will make you feel good, you’ll be able to relieve stress and feel like you can take on the day/pandemic.

 

Yes…we know. It’s probably a lot harder to get your daily movement in now regardless of what your lockdown situation is like. Luckily we’re here to help, in more ways than one.

 

Our corporate wellness clients are loving our virtual Zumba classes to get their blood flowing and endorphins pumping. In addition, we just started offering virtual yoga classes twice a week, every week. Finally, virtual Zumba for individuals is ALSO coming soon.
