Giving Back

Healing Hands founder Anastasia Yecke Gude has always been interested in giving back to her community. In 2020, with hands-on volunteer activities severely limited by the pandemic, she found out about a fantastic organization called Buy One Give One.

How does this work?

A business selects one or more activities they do on a frequent basis, and ties a giving incentive to it. Here are a few examples of what we do:

  • When a client books a massage, we give 5 days of access to life-saving clean water to a family in Cambodia.
  • When someone makes a comment or shares a post from our social media accounts, we provide information and reach out to 10 women at risk of domestic violence.
  • When an employee participates in one of our wellness programs, we give 1 day of access to e-learning to a child in India.
  • Read more about our partnership with B1G1 on our Giving Back page.

Giving initiatives

It’s the continuous micro-giving that makes a difference – not just to the community you’re helping, but to yourself. By incorporating giving into each service we provide, we have the satisfying feeling of going to work knowing that at the end of our day, we not only helped clients alleviate pain in their back or neck, but we also gave families access to clean water. And THAT is priceless.

Do Good … While Feeling Good
